Hi Everybody!

It's been years since I've made a meaningful contribution to my gallery or anything for that matter. It's been a crazy few years, sadly sometimes not the good kind of crazy! So, here I am, back, a little more grown up and i'd like to think more mature... some may disagree.

So, my plans for DA - Well, i'm in the process of re-designing my room (still live with parents, well dad), currently i'd say i'm 70% complete regarding the solid model (Solidworks) from that I will be rendering several different kinds of woods/paints and lighting (may as well use these skills for something useful!). Regarding getting the actual room finished - well I'm currently living in south east alpine France (fun times!) and won't be back till May so I can't actually construct the thing any time soon... but this is no construction forum, you're interested in the art... and art you shall get... this room is shaping up to be sexy!

Anyway - hope all my old DA Friends are well and I look forward to viewing the several thousands of pieces of work I've got in my watch!

I'll admit I haven't had much time for DA over the past... well, a while really. Life being all busy and stuff... but I just logged in as I do occasionally and noticed that I've been on here for over 4 years now! That is honestly the longest i've been a member of anything lol.

1st post of '09..... in June!

Well, I know its been a while.
Just to update you, I now have a job. I am an apprentice mechanical design engineer for a company called NP Aerospace - www.np-aerospace.co.uk , we make armoured cars, body armour and various other stuff.. like toilet seats at one point!#

Aaaanyway,
I fiered up C4D and began working on a kitchen, but every tiny nasty detail so I was doing it one part at a time. One day, pc... dead. So, I decided it was time for a new one.. go core 2 duo.

So, i bought an E2160, clocked it to 2.4ghz (it can go further, but I don't want to push it) 2gb of Corsair XMS2 and a ATI HD2600Pro. oh, and some cheap Foxconn motherboard.
But, with a new motherboard meant a new raid controller meaning format! so i've lost everything.. I think I have my F1 car on a disk somewhere.

But, I am hoping to get back into it all.. we shall have to see.
